چکیده

Consider the following total order: order the vertices by repeatedly removing a vertex of minimum degree in the subgraph of vertices not yet chosen and placing it after all the remaining vertices but before all the vertices already removed. For which graphs the greedy algorithm on this order gives an optimum vertex-coloring? Markossian, Gasparian and Reed introduced the class of -perfect graphs. These graphs admit such a greedy vertex-coloring algorithm. The recognition of -perfect graphs is open. We de ne a subclass of -perfect graphs, that can be recognized in polynomial time, by considering the class of graphs with no even hole, no short-chorded cycle on six vertices, and no diamond. In particular, we make use of the following properties: no minimal -imperfect graph contains a simplicial vertex, a minimal -imperfect graph which is not an even hole contains no vertex of degree 2. c © 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. Perfect Matchings in Edge-Transitive Graphs

We find recursive formulae for the number of perfect matchings in a graph G by splitting G into subgraphs H and Q. We use these formulas to count perfect matching of P hypercube Qn. We also apply our formulas to prove that the number of perfect matching in an edge-transitive graph is , where denotes the number of perfect matchings in G, is the graph constructed from by deleting edges with an en...

$n$-Array Jacobson graphs

We generalize the notion of Jacobson graphs into $n$-array columns called $n$-array Jacobson graphs and determine their connectivities and diameters. Also, we will study forbidden structures of these graphs and determine when an $n$-array Jacobson graph is planar, outer planar, projective, perfect or domination perfect.

On the Eccentric Connectivity Index of Unicyclic Graphs

In this paper, we obtain the upper and lower bounds on the eccen- tricity connectivity index of unicyclic graphs with perfect matchings. Also we give some lower bounds on the eccentric connectivity index of unicyclic graphs with given matching numbers.

Total perfect codes‎, ‎OO-irredundant and total subdivision in graphs

‎Let $G=(V(G),E(G))$ be a graph‎, ‎$gamma_t(G)$. Let $ooir(G)$ be the total domination and OO-irredundance number of $G$‎, ‎respectively‎. ‎A total dominating set $S$ of $G$ is called a $textit{total perfect code}$ if every vertex in $V(G)$ is adjacent to exactly one vertex of $S$‎. ‎In this paper‎, ‎we show that if $G$ has a total perfect code‎, ‎then $gamma_t(G)=ooir(G)$‎. ‎As a consequence, ...

Triangle-free strongly circular-perfect graphs

Zhu [15] introduced circular-perfect graphs as a superclass of the well-known perfect graphs and as an important χ-bound class of graphs with the smallest non-trivial χ-binding function χ(G) ≤ ω(G)+1. Perfect graphs have been recently characterized as those graphs without odd holes and odd antiholes as induced subgraphs [4]; in particular, perfect graphs are closed under complementation [7]. In...
